Abstract:
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken in response to a planning application. A holloway to the south of the site joined a broad track, forming part of a more extensive system of communication that probably dated to the pre-enclosure period and may have been medieval in origin. Lynchets aligned with the holloway were probably former road or track boundaries, extending the system into the development area. [Au]
