Abstract:
No features of archaeological interest were found during the re-facing of the rear wall and the demolition of late 19th or early 20th century outbuildings. However, the excavation of the foundation trench for the extension revealed at its base a brick wall of early post-medieval date, aligned east-west. A single piece of moulded masonry was recovered from the trench dated to the late 13th or early 14th century. [Au(abr)]
