Abstract: |
<summary>Activity dating back to the Roman period may be demonstrated by the discoveries made in the test-pits. The test-pits dug outside the building at the north end of the site suggested that only heavily truncated intrusive features were likely to be encountered, anything above this being truncated by modern disturbance. The degree of archaeological survival in the test-pits excavated inside the building was slightly better. {italon}AIP{italoff}{spacea} |
