Abstract: |
Observations of a 28m long pipe trench for the insertion of a new W.C in the church tower leading to a septic tank outside the southern porch entrance was undertaken. Starting from the tower, the excavation identified a gravel and stone layer, which may have been part of the foundations. This layer appeared to be redeposited and contained many fragments of bone. No finds were recovered. [Au(adp)] |
