Abstract: |
A watching brief on foundations for a new building revealed the remnants of two heavily truncated pits cutting into natural gravel. Pits contained large amounts of oyster and smaller amounts of CBM, bone and R//B greywares. A roughly circular deposit of mortar was noted c.1.5m below modern ground surface but excavated prior to inspection. [Au(abr)] |
