Abstract: |
<summary>An incomplete ring-ditch was excavated in advance of the construction of the West Stafford By-Pass. No burials were found, but the site was still thought to be a funerary monument of the Neolithic/Early Bronze Age. The monument had been badly damaged by ancient and more recent ploughing, with part of the ditch being completely eradicated by what appears to be a chalk quarry. {italon}AIP{italoff}{spacea} |
