Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at a site where prehistoric flints, a possibly medieval ditch and medieval pits had been recorded during an evaluation in 1990. During the 1995 evaluation, a medieval pit containing pottery dating from 1050-1150 was revealed. It was concluded that the site may have formed backyards or burgage plots in medieval Peckham.
