Abstract: |
The watching brief was undertaken during the excavation of new foundations. A fragment of probably post-medieval wall was noted at the eastern end of the site. Adjacent to the wall and probably associated with it was a compacted gravel yard surface. This surface was truncated by a later 19th or possibly early 20th century brick lined pit. A second wall, which did not seem to be related to the first, was recorded to the north of the pit. [Au(adp)] |
