Abstract: |
An archaeological excavation was undertaken on the site prior to development. A post built structure of possible early medieval date was identified. Cess pit from the medieval period and ovens suggesting industrial activity was also identified. A rectangular flint lined post-medieval pit, backfilled in the 18th century was also unearthed.
