Abstract: |
An archaeological excavation was carried out on the site of a possible round barrow, at Swell Wold, in advance of quarrying. No trace of a round barrow was seen, and no indication for a barrow ever occupying the site was identified. An undated pit was excavated and interpreted as a small quarry. [Au(adp)] |
