Abstract: |
A cultural heritage assessment was undertaken. Part of a complex of undated crop marks lay within the site, which may have represented either a settlement or funerary monuments of later prehistoric or Romano-British date. Hedgerows present at the edges of the site which lay along boundaries depicted on the 1765 Long Eaton Enclosure Award may be considered of some cultural heritage interest. Other features present on the site included the remains of ridge and furrow. Further evaluation/survey work was recommended prior to mineral extraction. [Au(adp)] |
