Abstract: |
The National Trust as current trustees of Lower Tresmorn Farm and its associated shrunken deserted medieval village requested and archaeological presence during repar works being carried out on a burst domestic water pipe. The original pipe route cut across the remains of the DMV, it was decided that the new pipe should be re-routed to avoid further damage to unexcavated remains. Two sherds of late medieval pottery were revealed, as well as a large amount of post-medieval finds. Various other features relating to the agricultural use of the site were revealed. [AIP] |
