Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during the installation of a new oil storage tank. The tank was installed in the area indicated within the specification and was laid on a paved hard standing installed on the ground surface. The pipe to the existing heating boiler within the church was laid within a shallow trench 0.3m wide and 0.2m deep which did not extend to a sufficient depth to reveal any archaeological features.
