Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at the proposed site of a clinical research unit. Four areas of cropmarks were known in the immediate vicinity, including one, partially excavated in the 1960s, which represented a Late Iron Age enclosure. During the evaluation, modern overburden was found to seal truncated natural chalk. It was concluded that the possibility of archaeological remains surviving at the site was minimal. [AIP] |
