Abstract: |
The site comprised a late medieval church together with its surrounding graveyard. The proposed development area occupied the eastern section of the churchyard immediately to the south of the church, and contained a number of 18th and 19th century burials together with 36 surviving memorials. The assessment consisted of a historical desk-based assessment followed by a detailed recording programme of the tombstones in the area affected by the proposal. [Au(adp)] |
