Abstract: |
Fieldwalking and trial trenching were employed in the evaluation of the site of a proposed golf course development. Mesolithic through to Bronze Age material was recovered across the whole area. Sub-surface features as well as an 'in situ' Mesolithic flint working area were recorded. Most of the features would be unaffected by landscaping, although others will in areas of sand pits and lakes. [Au(abr)] |
