Abstract: |
A geo-archaeological evaluation was undertaken at a proposed development site within the former Woolwich Arsenal. Samples from eight boreholes were analysed, and it was found that peat deposits dating from the neolithic to the early bronze age were present. It was concluded that the site had a high archaeological potential, and that further work would be required. [Au(adp)] |
