Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at the proposed site of student accommodation. A previous excavation 200m from the site had revealed evidence for the medieval manor house of Tottenhall; the site itself appeared to lie outside the manor. One trench was excavated, and fragments of 18th century pottery were found. No evidence dating from before the 18th century was encountered, and it was concluded that no further work would be necessary. [AIP] |
