Abstract: |
A total of nine Listed Buildings and twenty recorded archaeological sites lay within the study area. Of these, seven sites would be directly affected by the proposed development. The pipeline passed through a possible area of late Neolithic or early Bronze Age activity as attested to by a number of flint tool find spots. The pipeline also crossed a number of relict field boundaries and a former lane possibly dating to the medieval period. [Au(abr)] |
