Abstract:
An archaeological observation of the topsoil and subsoil stripping related to the development of the site was undertaken in order to fulfil a condition upon planning permission. The site lay close to areas of early settlement identified as cropmarks on aerial photographs. The observation recorded an undated ditch which may have been a former field boundary. [Au(adp)]
