Abstract: |
Across the site several weak positive linear responses and other discreet responses were observed during the detailed magnetic survey with a Barrington grad 601-2, which may have had archaeological origins. A north to south linear anomaly may have been caused by a former field boundary. Further weak linear responses may have been caused by natural features related to the fluvial setting. Other responses identified seemed likely to be result of modern disturbances including fencing and services. One feature in the north of the site may have related to a burnt feature but would require further investigation to clarify. [Au(adp)] |
