Abstract: |
<summary>Two trial-trenches excavated within a burgage plot to the rear of 22 Market Place, in advance of the construction of an extension, revealed parts of a probable yard boundary comprising a number of pits with associated medieval pottery, wall foundations overlying some of the pits, and a stone-lined cistern. Post-medieval yard surfaces associated with existing walls and a stone-lined drain sealed the medieval deposits. {italon}AIP{italoff}{spacea} |
