Abstract: |
Post-excavation monitoring on the construction of a new room at the United Reformed Church revealed further evidence of the dimensions of one of the pits. An arched void was also revealed under the corner of the building and an incomplete flint and mortar lining to a square pit was investigated. This was probably a privy partially attached to the existing school room and demolished at the time of the extension in 1887. [Au(abr)] |
