Abstract: |
The assessment identified three archaeological sites within the boundaries of the development area. The most extensive (PRN 732) consisted of a series of cropmarks that were interpreted as possible agricultural features which probably dated to the later prehistoric, Romano-British or medieval periods. The other sites identified were within the southern area of the site and were both coal mines of the 19th century. [AIP] |
