Abstract: |
The assessment revealed that the site had no specific sites from the prehistoric period. The development area may have been a part of a medieval deer park and the present Cowley Moor House may have been on the site of earlier buildings. The site of the brick yard was of archaeological interest as it was thought to have at least five structures that were present in the 19th century. Paleaoenvironmental material could provide evidence of field boundaries, hedgebanks and ditches, along with the possible occurrence of wooden artefacts. [Au(abr)] |
