| Abstract: |
An topographical survey and evaluation was conducted in advance of a proposed development. The survey recorded medieval ridge and furrow remains, field boundary banks, a possible remnant headland, banks surrounding a small paddock and a walled garden, as well as upstanding remains and footings of the walled garden. Three trial trenches were placed across ridge and furrow remains and identified a modern field drain. No finds were recovered. No further archaeological work was required. [Au(adp)] |
