Abstract: |
Six trial trenches were excavated as an evaluation prior to the site's redevelopment for housing. No archaeological deposits were encountered. Natural deposits of gravel and chalk were found across the site but had undergone considerable truncation. No residual evidence of earlier occupation or activities on the site were recovered.
