Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out in advance of building development. The site is recorded as a pound of post-medieval date (HWCM7837) and is very close to the supposed site of medieval pottery kilns (HWCM7037), part of the important but little understood medieval pottery industry of the Malvern area. No archaeological deposits were observed, and no finds dated to earlier than the modern period were recovered.[AIP] |
