Abstract: |
An area of 4.76 ha was field-walked in advance of the construction of a freshwater lake. There were a number of prehistoric burnt flints, which represented a previously unknown prehistoric 'site'. The significant cluster of burnt flints was trial trenched by means of three 1.5m wide trenches totalling 55m long. There were no features, apart from one intrusion of indeterminate origin. [Au] |
