An archaeological excavation was carried out on the site. A Saxon cemetery, comprising of 144 cremation burials, 1 possible inhumation and 23 related features. A scatter of pits, post holes and gullies dating from the Early-Middle Iron Age and the Roman period. [Au(abr)] |
