Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during the excavation of foundation trenches for a residential development, at a site which lay immediately to the north of a moated site which was a SAM. Earlier monitoring of geological test-pits at the site had recorded nothing of archaeological significance. During the watching brief, only deposits of modern or natural origin were observed. [AIP] |
