Abstract:
A watching brief was carried out during topsoil stripping prior to the construction of a car-park associated with a cemetery extension. A cropmark feature representing a double-ditched trackway was thought to cross the site, but no trace of this was observed. One feature, a cut which probably represented the edge of a roadside ditch, was recorded, and undated tile fragments were recovered. [Au(abr)]
