Abstract: |
The evaluation trenches did not reveal any significant structures or features that related to the medieval city ditch and rampart. The trenches did reveal a series of late post-medieval deposits relating to the construction of St Mary's House during the Edwardian period. The construction deposits and disturbance cut into earlier deposits, which probably dated from the early post-medieval period. [Au(abr)] |
