Abstract: |
The desk based assessment identified that there were no recorded sites of either regional or national importance in the immediate area of the study zone, although some sites of more local interest were identified. An Iron Age hillfort lay within the area of development but its destruction by quarrying and subsequent descheduling had reduced its importance. [AIP] |
