Abstract: |
Two rectangular building footprints, totalling an area of c.330 sq m, were stripped for the construction of a communication facility at RAF Lakenheath. A charcoal rich occupation horizon containing worked flint and flint gritted Iron Age pottery covered the northern end of the site. Cut features, seen in the footing trenches, were sealed beneath the occupation horizon, and one of these, 0003, produced a large quantity of Iron Age pottery. [Au] |
