Abstract: |
Excavations and documentary research on the site revealed evidence of a short episode of medieval activity. This activity was represented by the presence of rubbish pits and the possible remains of a medieval building. It was suggested that the site was part of the furthest known expansion of the medieval town which would date the features to a pre-Plague period which forced the contraction of the town boundaries.
