Abstract: |
This evaluation was carried out in advance of a proposed residential development. The excavation identified pits, gullies, ditches, pottery and animal bones indicative of a Late Iron Age/Roman settlement. Metal dress fittings dating to the Roman period were also recovered from a pit including a hair pin. Neolithic/Bronze Age worked flint and pottery were also identified. [AIP] |
