Abstract: |
Excavations for the footing and drainage trenches were largely confined to the modern topsoil horizon. The exception was the identification of a deposit at the base of the footing trenches which correlated closely in composition and appearance to a late medieval/early post-medieval deposit revealed during a previous evaluation.
