Abstract: |
The demolition of the barn did not reveal any re-used worked stone from the medieval Benedictine priory, which occupied the site between 1190 and 1537. Archaeological features identified during the excavation works were all modern in date and included a small pit or post hole, cobbled surface and a brick lined culvert. [Au(abr)] |
