Abstract: |
The trial excavation found the surviving feature have been severely truncated, probably by recent agricultural activity. The absence of any artefacts from the plough soil in particular would suggest that the area was away from the foci of human activity. The poorly preserved features comprising a modern boundary ditch, a probable medieval furrow and two undated features were at most local significance. [Au(abr)] |
