Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at a site which lay within an archaeological priority zone. Roman remains had been recorded in the vicinity. Two houses built on the site between 1754 and 1786 had become a single house by 1801; wall foundations relating to this were the only features found during the evaluation. It was recommended that a watching brief be carried out during ground works for the new buildings.[AIP] |
