Abstract: |
The watching brief reported the results of the excavation of a lift shaft in a department store. Unfortunately the work was carried out without archaeological supervision and it appeared that considerable waterlogged deposits, including Anglo-Saxon wattle walls, one of which related to a building were significantly damaged.
