Abstract:
The study area has been shown to contain a high potential for significant archaeological remains. Three seperate sites have produced Anglo-Saxon grave goods and burials. The proposed work was expected to impact on areas of historic interest outside the study area, for example the driveway of the Listed Building, Hazelgrove House. Although the existing road had truncated the archaeological remains, it was thought that other significant deposits or features may still have been affected by further development. [Au(adp)]
