Abstract: |
The excavation revealed a number of deposits containing pottery of medieval date, which sealed a gully and four post holes running on an east-west alignment, possibly a boundary. Although no dating evidence was found in these features, the medieval layers above, possibly levelling deposits, suggest that they too were medieval in date. To the south of the boundary were two intercutting pits, the earlier of which contained 11th to 12th century pottery. [Au(abr)] |
