Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation of two trial trenches revealed evidence of the destruction of a substantial, probably medieval, building, including a pit containing stone rubble, roofing slate and mortar. The lower courses of a stone wall were also uncovered, perhaps representing an element of a probably medieval building or perhaps tenement boundary wall. [Au(adp)] |
