Abstract: |
The two phases of evaluation revealed extensive archaeological remains across the site. It was not possible to provide a detailed interpretation of the remains due to the limited scale of the investigations, but both phases of work suggested that the main focus of activity within the Scheduled site lay along the eastern side of the site and further to the east beneath current dwellings. The potential enclosure ditch appeared to be associated with former agricultural practices and the area of potential prehistoric structural activity on the western side of the site had been severely truncated by later activity.
