Abstract: |
An archaeological assessment was carried out on the proposed development site. The assessment identified low to moderate potential for Roman, medieval and post-medieval archaeology. The archaeological potential of the site was identified from the site's proximity to the projected line of a Roman road, its proximity to a deserted medieval village and associated field system and the remains of the former Clewley House.
