Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out at the site of Kings Arms Lane which revealed what appeared to be a post-medieval quarry infill. A linear spread of oolitic limestone fragments ran through the site which was possibly the remains of a drystone wall or culvert. Stratified pottery sherds dating between the late 16th and 18th centuries were recovered from one small discrete area of the infill. [Au] |
