Abstract: |
A detailed magnetic survey was carried out over 7.3ha of flat arable land at Uckington. The survey revealed numerous linear anomalies which may have related to archaeological features including a set of anomalies possibly representing double banks with adjacent ditches. Parallel anomalies were identified, that seemed to align with field divisions defined on the 1839 Tithe map suggesting they were plough marks contemporary with these land boundaries. [Au(adp)] |
