Abstract: |
A desk-based assessment was carried out as part of the racecourse regeneration project. The archaeology of the area was largely unknown, save for the Scheduled Ancient Monument of a Roman extra-mural settlement in Zone 8 of the project. A staged programme of archaeological evaluation was recommended. [Au(adp)] |
